Kidney Health Australia plans to make this year’s event BIGGER and BETTER than last year…..celebrating a day of connectivity for the South East QLD Kidney Community we unite those affected by kidney disease – also known as Australia’s silent killer – bringing patients, families, nurses, carers and people from all walks of life together as they dress in red – many in crazy costumes – and walk together to raise funds and awareness.

Our Brisbane event will see the likes of Deputy Premier – Jackie Trad, Kidney Health Australia – Ambassador Rochelle Pitt, A/Prof Carmel Hawley – Australasian Kidney Trials Network, Chair (AKTN)/ Consultant Nephrologist and reality TV celebrities from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, not to mention the amazing kidney patient stories you will hear on the day.

We will warm up with a playful Zumba, walk either 2.5km and 5km, enjoy the entertainment including Kids Corner (Jumping Castle, Face painting, Games), Interactive photo booth, meet your favourite Star Wars characters from our partners Redback Garrison -501st Legions, munch on a kidney friendly pizza or delicious BBQ, enjoy some tasty fruit and water, which of course your kidney’s loveJ Also, our Patient Steering Committee have drummed up so many prizes for a SUPER RAFFLE, so many smiles for fabulous day out and walk for a cause!
